Leadership
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Hoyt holds a Doctor of Management in Information Systems and Technology, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Information Systems and Technology, and graduate and undergraduate degrees in Computer Information Systems. He has taught full-time at Florida Gulf Coast University since 2010 across information systems, computer technology, mobile application development, ethical hacking, and business analytics.
Before entering full-time academia, Dr. Hoyt managed database administration and campus applications at Ave Maria University. His scholarship spans gamification, human-computer interaction, information systems education, and cybersecurity governance, with peer-reviewed publications and presentations through Springer and HCI International. His university service includes Faculty Senate leadership, long-term course coordination, veteran entrepreneurship mentoring, and support for student veterans.
Head of Artificial Intelligence
Dr. Ruehle guides Skylor Tutor’s artificial intelligence direction with expertise spanning AI ethics, AI governance, human-AI factors, and ethical leadership. Her work helps keep innovation aligned with responsible adoption and meaningful learning outcomes.
VP of Skylor Brand & Digital Growth
Jack Nahigian leads Skylor Tutor’s brand and digital growth efforts, helping shape how the company communicates its mission, builds its digital presence, and connects with learners, tutors, institutions, and partners.
Senior Advisor, Academic Strategy & Institutional Partnerships
Dr. Barringer brings extensive experience in academic affairs, faculty leadership, institutional administration, and higher education. He advises Skylor Tutor on institution-ready strategy, academic alignment, and durable educational partnerships.
